15 years. Still coaching. Still working. Still in it.
JenJarackas Coaching exists for actors and creative humans who are done playing it safe — and ready to do the real work of becoming the most authentic, powerful version of themselves.
This isn't a classroom. This is a transformation.
At the heart of JJ's coaching is one guiding truth:
Where you are blocked in your inner life, you will be blocked in your work.
Using her original CRAFT TOOLS methodology, JJ guides actors and creatives into the depths of their own authenticity — past the conditioned "Mask Truth" and into the real truth underneath. The truth that casting directors, audiences, and collaborators can feel the moment you walk in the room.
This work combines emotionally grounded technique, deep inner work, and practical skill-building to help you:
→ Break through the blocks that have been keeping you stuck
→ Access genuine vulnerability and emotional freedom in your craft
→ Develop the kind of presence that gets you noticed and remembered
→ Show up as the most truthful, connected version of yourself — on screen, on stage, and in life
Whether you're just getting serious about your craft or ready to take your career to the next level — if you're committed to going the distance, this is your training home.
Jen Jarackas has been a mentor and acting coach for 15 years — but her foundation was built long before she ever stepped into a coaching role.
Trained in film, stage, television, dance, and voice across Orlando, Los Angeles, and New York City, Jen studied most notably under New York Master Instructor Jim Bonney (JimBonney Studio, MeisnerPlus Technique, The Actor's Studio — NYC) and the late Yvonne Suhor (Art's Sake Film Acting Studio). Additional training includes work with Ricci Mann, Ryan Smith of MADtv at SAK Comedy Lab, Jim Helsinger of the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, and Broadway voice coach Mary Rogers.
Jen's background in psychology — human development, mental and behavioral health — combined with her ongoing work as an actively booking film and television actor, gives her coaching a specificity and depth that goes far beyond traditional technique-based training.
She has lived and worked in the markets she teaches for. NYC. Hollywood. The audition rooms, the callbacks, the sets. She brings all of it into the room with every student she coaches.
Jen also writes, produces, and directs — and is currently in production on new film projects.
If you are called to acting, performing, or any form of public expression, you are being called to honor the act of service through your craft. JJ's coaching will show you how to answer that call fully.
"This path is not for the faint of heart."
Acting is not about showing up and looking pretty or memorizing lines. A parrot can memorize lines. Scripts are not academic assignments. Acting is not math class.
It is about Learning the Story and Living the Lines.
As Jim Bonney would say: "If you want to work on your acting, work on yourself." JJ adds: if you want to change your acting and go deeper into the craft, change what needs to be changed in your life — because what's happening in your life WILL translate into your work.
Where you are blocked in any specific area of your life, it will be blocked in your work. No actor is going to walk onto a set and hit an authentic, genuine 10 of anger if they struggle to express that emotion in their own life. We are all taught — from our most formative years — to shut off our feelings. It is just how most people have been conditioned to deal with emotions. No one teaches us how to access them freely.
Unless you were fortunate enough to have a mentor like Jim Bonney.
That is exactly what JJ's coaching does.
"THEY ARE LOOKING FOR THE TRUTH OF YOU — the Truth of your Truth, not your conditioned Mask Truth. And that requires vulnerability and the willingness to do the inner work."

--- "JJ, you are my rock as a coach, and someone I consider to be even better as a friend. I won't deny that when I first joined her class I was overwhelmed with life, numb to emotions, and had too much negativity in my life. JJ changed my life for the better — she took me to another level not only as an actor but as a human being. She has opened my heart to new experiences. She nurtures each person's inner self by helping us recognize our strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. She has taught me to take risks in life and to live without regrets. She is what every student looks for in a teacher plus more — a deep connection and true caring for her students, with an immense amount of knowledge. I would without a doubt recommend her to actors of all experience."
