Week 2: eMotional Tools - 

We’ll be exploring a range and spectrum of Base Emotions through Breathwork, Visualization Tools, Body & Voice, and an Introduction to RASA Boxes. 

"We have inadvertently been taught to “stuff” or hide our feelings since our childhood.

Oftentimes, due to cultural and societal beliefs. Judgements are made based on other people’s false beliefs that they are negative or “bad”, so we hide them and sometimes develop shame around them. Guilt for having them. Fear of what they may do – both the naysayers AND the feelings themselves. 

Feelings are just Feelings. One’s thoughts, beliefs, and feelings about them can make them seem negative. How one expresses them is what can cause them to appear “bad”." 

"To know about your Feelings, to be aware of them, on an Intellectual Level is one thing. But Feelings are not of the Intellect. They are not just Knowledge to possess. They are not Facts. 

They are Indicators, Guideposts. 

They are [at times] Illogical, Irrational, and Unreasonable. 

They are meant to be Felt. Experienced. Sorted through. Exercised, like a muscle.

Week 3: Body & Voice for Film & Television Actors - Body & Voice exercises & techniques, including Strasberg & Laban, as well as ‘Movement for Actors’. You’ll discover why all of this is Important for On-Camera work, and learn tools & exercises to create your own physical and vocal warm-ups for Self-Rehearsals. 

Week 4: Auditioning on Camera for Agents & CDs - This week finds you learning some new pointers and a refresh on ‘old’ tips & tools. You will be auditioning ‘On-Tape’ and ‘In-Person’ in various mock audition scenarios.
